As Jenson Button told Dream recently: ‘I love that car, and the new one is a massive step forward.’ And so that everyone can experience its blistering performance, Honda is launching a unique road show to run throughout the summer.
As revealed this year, the Type R smashed the world record at the Nürburgring, roaring round the infamous ‘Green Hell’ track in less than 8 minutes. Now you can match yourself against the professionals: can you get round the same dangerously twisting track?
The road show – called King of the Hell – features a state-of-the-art F1-style simulator, recreating exactly how it feels to be at the wheel of this turbo-charged super hatch. Your time will be recorded on a live leader board – be the fastest and you’ll drive away in your own Type R!
