We live busy lives, our weekdays consumed by work and weekends by endless chores.

More time for you

Enter Honda Miimo, a handy, compact robot on wheels that will take care of your lawn so you can enjoy more of your free time.

This is the first commercial robotic product created for domestic use by Honda.

It navigates using a combination of controls, timers and real-time sensory feedback, working within a perimeter wire installed under the ground or buried in the grass. By detecting the low-voltage electric current in the wire, it won’t stray past the boundary, ensuring high levels of safety and accuracy.

Random cutting pattern

The small robot cuts in a random pattern; in a more linear fashion for a quick cut, or in a mix of the two modes.

A built-in ‘yaw’ sensor enables it to self-correct its cutting path, so that it reaches all areas of the lawn and is not diverted from its course when tackling slopes.

Grass ‘sucking’

Uniquely, Honda Miimo features a blade fan, which effectively ‘sucks’ the grass upright to ensure a superior finish, as well as allowing a consistent distribution of clippings back to the root system. The clippings break down quickly, acting as a natural fertiliser to improve the health of the grass.

Powered by a long-life lithium-ion battery, Honda Miimo is self-charging, constantly monitoring its battery level and returning to its docking station when it needs to recharge. It will create a beautiful lawn with minimal human interaction, leaving you more time to spend with family and friends.
