Our day starts by…
…greeting colleagues and having a cup of coffee while planning the day.
Our working environment is unique because…
…it changes all the time, either because we travel with ASIMO, or because we need to tailor the demonstration to the requests of visitors to ASIMO Studio.
The main purpose of what we do is…
…to demonstrate ASIMO to the public, strengthening the Honda brand, bringing the dreams of tomorrow a little closer, and explaining the purpose of Honda Robotics: enhancing people’s day-to-day life by expanding mobility.
At the moment we are working on…
…a series of demonstrations at ASIMO Studio and developing choreography for it to perform during the Denmark premiere of ASIMO.
Our favourite part of the job is…
…seeing the look of wonderment on the faces in the audience. When ASIMO joins the stage there is definitely a visible wow effect.
The most exciting thing about working with ASIMO is…
…collaborating with people all over Europe (and sometimes the world). ASIMO lets us meet people and experience different places, cultures and other ways of organising or doing things. ASIMO and our team have visited over 29 countries, and ASIMO has performed at more than 150 different locations.
The strangest thing that happens to us at work is…
…meeting princes, presidents, prime ministers, pop singers, athletes… all kinds of people we would never have met without ASIMO. The most surprising thing was a photo session with a group of Zulu warriors during a motor show in South Africa.
The biggest misconception about our job is…
…that we engineered or have built ASIMO. We just operate ASIMO.
This year we are looking forward to…
…more trips to places ASIMO hasn’t visited yet and meeting people who are looking forward to seeing the All-New ASIMO.
At the end of the day we always…
…make sure ASIMO is safe.
