The challenge: On 23 March 2014 Steph will set off from the Ace Cafe, London and attempt to circumnavigate the globe visiting at least 42 countries and hitting at least six continents (seven if she manages to get safe passage to Antarctica). Steph aims to do this in less than two years, avoiding all motorways and main roads and living mainly in her two-man tent with only the things she can carry on her bike. Steph’s budget for the entire trip is tiny, allowing just £5 a day for food and drink while her journey will raise awareness for the charity Rally4Life.
